Odede 18th August

Things are coming along really well here at Odede. We are on the last stage which is the boys dormitary and will then start the roof. Life here in Odede is wonderful and they are treating me just like family, and infact I think evern better.

I feel so comfortable here that I know that the job I am here to do will be so easy as I have the total support of the community. The children are teaching me Luo and they seem to laugh a lot.... but we are having fun. It is my birthday tomorrow and I am attempting to bake a cake with candles and have Fairy Bread for the children. Hopefuly it will be a time to remember.

I commence one of the 4 houses that people have sponsored within the next week so I will post some photos. The one that you will see now is the update of the Child Rescue Centre. Compare the previous photos under Odede, they have been working very hard.
